Vegetarian Tom Yam Soup (hassle-free method) 素食東炎湯(方便煮式)



This is a hot and sour soup is well known in asia pacific. Made this with ready-made Vegetarian Tom Yam Sauce which again save you lots of precious time after you have a long day....

Serving : 4 Preparation Time: 30 mins (not including white rice cooking time)


Vegetarian Ingredient (Please use vegetarian ingredient with NO EGG):

* Tom Yam Paste (see picture, about 5 tablespoon or to taste)
(This Tom Yam Paste is available in most vegetarian shops)

* Galangal or known as a kind of Ginger (wash, peel off skin and slice, just about 2 slices will do)

* 1 Assam Slice (*optional for sour taste)

* Carrot (just few slices wash and cut)

* 1/4 slice of Lemon (squeeze the juices *optional for sour taste)

* Cut chilli padi to taste (wash and cut , little to add in soup and for garnish)

* White Cabbage (Wash and Slice)

* Brown shimeji mushroom (Wash and Cut)

* 1 Tomato (Wash and cut into cubes)

* Vegetarian Cuisine (Slice see picture)

* Firmed tofu beancurd (cut and slice into squares)

* G powder, Salt, MSG to taste (note: G powder is a bonus to enhance the flavor)

Note: Alternatively you can add your own favorite vegetables.

Preparation:

Boil a pot of water for 4 servings. Upon boiling, add ginger slices, carrot slices and tom yam paste. Boil in medium heat for about 10 mins.

Add in the rest of the ingredients, seasoning and simmer in medium heat for another about 15 mins. There you are ready to serve.

Eat with white rice. And Red Cut chilli padi in soy sauce as garnish ! May squeeze additional lemon juices if preferred into the soup served.


這酸辣湯在亞洲一代很受歡迎。若忙了一整天,利用做好的東炎醬料就可以輕鬆在家裏做的佳肴。


四人份 所需時間:大概30分鐘(不包括煮白飯的時間)

素食材料(請用無蛋的素食材料):

* 東炎醬(請看图片,大約5桌汤匙,或適量按照個人口味加)
(這東炎醬在一般的齋料店都有販賣)

* 南姜(洗乾淨,剝皮,切片,大約2片即可)

*   1片亞參片(*可免,能帶出酸味)

* 紅蘿蔔(只需几片,洗乾淨切片)

* 1/4片柠檬(擠出果汁*可免,能帶出酸味)

* 小辣椒(洗乾淨,切,另外可以沾醬油吃)

* 白菜(洗乾淨,切片)

* shimeji蘑菇(洗乾淨,切好)

* 番茄1个(洗净切塊狀)

* 齋料(切片,請看图片)

* 豆干(切正方形片)

* 適量G粉、盐、味精调味(注:建議加G粉,能增添味道)

注:另外,您可以添加自己喜欢的蔬菜。


準備方法:

煮一鍋4人份的水。水開了以後,加姜片、紅蘿蔔、東炎醬。中火煮大概10分鐘。

然後再把其它的材料和調味加進鍋裏,煮大概15分鐘。

完成了!


配白飯很棒!另外切好小辣椒可沾醬油吃咯。 按照個人口味,可在上桌的湯加額外柠檬汁。
